MORGAN HILL TALK SHOW is the winner of the first CMHA Virtual Futurity. He is sired by TALK BACK and out of the CARLYLE CARTIER and DVF ELEGANCE daughter CM AMAZING GRACE.

Ashley placed 6th in Class#62.1 GN HUNTER PLEASURE LADIES AMATEUR GELDING and 8th in Class#247 WORLD CHAMPION HUNTER PLEASURE LADIES AMATEUR aboard MORGAN HILL FOREVER YOUNG. We are quite proud of her achievements.

Caitlyn Malyk also had a good showing.

We have recently purchased a weanling filly from Triumph Stables in Roanoke, Indiana, a full sister to the 2006 $25,000 Morgan Breeders Sweepstakes Champion THE NEW MILLENNIUM.

Sired by World Champion MINION MILLENNIUM (paternal brother to our stallion TALK BACK) and out of World Champion ALJAKS MISS LADEEDA, a product of the proven cross of ALJAKS DOUBLE WHAMMY and the TEDWIN TOPIC daughter CENTURY OAK DENALI, this filly will be in Alberta in October.
MINION MILLENNIUM is out of the SERENITY MASTERPIECE son MINION VALENTINO and the great mare POMPP AND PAZAZZ who is a World Champion SERENITY MASTERPIECE daughter and dam of World Champions CONTINENTAL VISION and GRAYCLIFF TONY. MINION MILLENNIUM is the sire of the 2008 and 2009 World Champion In Hand Mare CHERRYDALE CASSEOPIA and the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 10th place 2010 Morgan Weanling Gala winners.
ALJAKS MISS LADEEDA herself was the 2001 Morgan Breeders Sweepstakes Reserve Champion and in 2002 was the World Futurity Yearling Champion out of a class of 17 yearlings. Her sire ALJAKS DOUBLE WHAMMY was the 1993 Morgan Breeders Sweepstakes Champion (full brother to LIBERATION FIRST STAR) and his sire CENTURY FREE SPIRIT was a world Champion son of the late great WHAM BAM COMMAND and his dam LIBERATION STARBRITE was also a World Champion and a daughter to WHAM BAM COMMAND.

 

3 Lookaway dogs ( all sired by Rocky) attended the the 2010 Congenital Cardiac Disease Screening Clinic in Calgary hosted by the Alberta Boxer Club on August 1st. The results were NO evidence of congenital heart disease on all 3 girls.

The 2010 Alberta Morgan Horse Club Show

The show was great show for us at Morgan Hill. Friday started out with TALK BACK winning the Morgan Hunter Pleasure 3 year old class.

 Later that evening his son MORGAN HILL TALK SHOW (TALK BACK x CM AMAZING GRACE, (CARLYLE CARTIER x DVF ELEGANCE) won the Weanling Futurity while MORGAN HILL OUTRAJUS JOY (CURRENCY CODE x BMF WILLOW) got 2nd in the Yearling Futurity (this was was her first time at a show since she was born too late for the weanling Futurity).

MORGAN HILL MAPLE got 3rd in the 2 year old Futurity. On Saturday morning TALK BACK won the 3 year old and over in hand stallion class and went on to be pinned Morgan Show Champion Stallion for his 2nd time. Later in the evening he competed in and won the Morgan Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse Championship.

Ashley Comeau and Caitlyn Malyk shared MORGAN HILL FOREVER YOUNG and both had some good rides, including Ashley in the Ride-A-Fiver.

Our Welsh Pony Section A yearling filly Rhiannon's Ffiona won her Futurity and was Reserve Champion Welsh Pony Section A on Friday June 25th at the Olds show.

Talk Back won the 3 yrs old and over stallions and geldings Inhand classes on Friday May 21st and Sunday May 23rd and went on to be Double Grand Champion Morgan at the Parkland show in Red Deer.

Gunner finished her championship this fall at the EKC show.

Rocky wins Best of Breed and places 1st in Group at the Prince Albert Dog Show, March 7th 2009.

 

Ashley Comeau and her 9 yr Morgan gelding won big time at the 2008 Alberta Morgan Horse Show!!
Morgan Hill Forever Young won the Open Hunter Under Saddle Championship, Amateur Hunter Under Saddle Championship as well as many ribbons in the jumping events. Ashley plans to take Even Rude (ER) to Oklahoma (The World Championship and Grand National Morgan Horse Show) in 2009 if he does not sell first. This horse is for sale.

Our yearling Morgan stallion Talk Back was the 2008 Grand Champion Stallion, Jr. Champion Stallion as well as the 1st place winner of the yearling stallion class at the 2008 Alberta Morgan Horse Show.
